NOTICE OF RACE
MC Fleet 19 and the Eagle Lake Sailing Club cordially invite you to the 13th annual Eagle Lake Open
VENUE LOCATION
Eagle Lake Sailing Club is a beautiful sailing club from the 1930s. It is a magical place where you can create great sailing memories. The club is about 14 miles northwest of South Bend, IN, the home of the University of Notre Dame and the Fighting Irish.

The event will be dry-sailed. At the end of the day, you will pull your boat out and leave it on your trailer. There will be MC members there to help with this process.

$65 MCSA members

$75 for Non-MCSA members

All food, drinks, and social activities are included in the registration fee.

Participants may pay in advance and save $5. Pay via Zelle to eaglelakesailingclub@gmail.com.
RULES
The races will be governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS). This event is open to MC Scows whose skippers have completed registration and paid the required fees by the close of registration. Trophy age category requirements must be met before the first scheduled race.

Lunch - 3rd and 4th race starts at the discretion of the PRO. No warning signal will be made after 3:45 pm

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing instructions will be available at registration prior to the skippers' meeting
SCORING/RULES:
The races will be governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
The following rules will be changed/clarified. These changes will appear in the Sailing Instructions.
COURSES:
The race course will be generally Windward / Leeward with a Windward finish. Course descriptions will be listed in sailing instructions, and course diagrams will be shared during the skippers' meeting.

Camping
You are welcome to camp at the club. There is camping and RV space at ELSC in the upper parking lot area. Showers and restrooms are available in the club, but no hook-ups. If you plan to camp, please contact Lisa Heming at 574-210-9443.
FURRY FRIENDS
Unfortunately, furry friends are not allowed at Eagle Lake Sailing Club. It’s a club rule that applies to all members and guests.
