Lake Murray Sailing Club (LMSC) and MC Scow Fleet 89 invite you to participate in the “Bottoms Up” Regatta, our annual sailing event for MC Scows.
Lake Murray Sailing Club is located approximately 25 miles northwest of Columbia, South Carolina.
We offer free on-site camping, proximity to hotels, excellent clubhouse facilities and wonderful “down home" hospitality. Please refer to our website, http://www.lmsc.org, for directions to LMSC, and local hotel information. Regatta Registration: http://www.mcscow.org
The regatta will consist of up to eight scheduled races and is open to all currently registered MCSA members. The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and MCSA rules will govern this regatta except as amended by regatta sailing instructions. Sailing instructions will be available at the registrar’s desk on the day of registration. Scoring will be the Low Point System as described in Appendix “A4” of the RRS (Changes Appendix A2). One race, however, shall constitute a regatta and all races will be scored. Trophies will be awarded to the top three skippers in each division.
After Saturday’s racing the fleets will be divided into two divisions (50/50) and sail separate starts on Sunday. A wonderful Bar B Que dinner will be available Saturday evening. Complimentary continental breakfasts will be available Saturday and Sunday.

Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See Rule RRS 4 “Decision to Race”. The Organizing Authority will not accept any liability for material damage, personal injury or death sustained in connection with, prior to, during or after the regatta.
