2006 Upper Tune Upper Regatta Results

Upper Minnetonka Yacht Club held it's famous Upper Tune Upper Regatta on May 20/21. We had a little of everyone's favorite wind this year, and we were able to get in all 6 races, plus one terrific party! Races 1 and 2 saw a West breeze at about 6-8 mph with a cool cloudy sky. After a tasty lunch, the wind switched to the North at 10-14 and a bit shifty. The sky cleared by evening, and raucous party ensued with JD at the bar, Dave and Jim grilling steaks, and Norma's famous potato sensation at the buffet line! Sunday finished up with a shifty east breeze that would fill and die at the most frustrating moments. The top three teams in both the C and MC fleets received delightful awards selected by Duffy Abramson.
