2007 Midlands Regatta Results

Lenny Krawcheck sailed a masterful 2-2-1 series to win the 2007 Midlands Regatta. Saturday racing featured great breeze and cool temperatures. George Scarborough dominated the first day with two bullets. George has been really hot recently winning the Carolina YC open in July and the Augusta Halloween Regatta in October. Justin Annis put up two treys behind Lenny to finish third on the day. On Sunday, the breezes were really light, but did fill in enough for the RC to get in one race. Lenny and Ron Wright stayed on the right side of the course for the first windward beat and it paid off as they pulled away from the rest of the fleet to finish 1-2. Mack Cook sailed a great race to finish third. Lenny's 2-2-1 dominated the regatta. George finished in second and Justin Annis sailed a very nice regatta for third place.
