Scoring for the MC Triple Crown series will be as follows:
  • First place finisher in the SER and in the Train Wreck Regattas will be awarded 60 points, second place finisher 59 points, third 58 points, etc.
  • First place finisher in the MCSA Mid-Winter Championship will be awarded 120 points, second place finisher 119 points, third place 118 points, etc.
  • Total score for the series will be the sum of scores in all three regattas
VHF Radios and Recalls
VHF radio will be the primary means used by the Race Committee (RC) for communicating with the fleet about activity on the course e.g., delays, recalls, weather issues, etc. For recalls, following the display of the Individual Recall flag, the RC will attempt to announce by VHR radio the sail numbers of all boats identified as being OCS. (This changes RRS 29.1). Such announcement is a courtesy and failure by the RC to make the announcement, or of the boats to hear or understand it shall not constitute grounds for redress.
Trophies The following keeper trophies will be awarded:
  • Top Five finishers (any age, male, or female)
  • Top Master
  • Top Grand Master
  • Top Mega Master
  • Top Female (provided a minimum of two are registered before the early registration deadline)
  • Top Youth (provided a minimum of two are registered before the early registration deadline)
